The Educational Empowerment Program is a developmental initiative designed to support academic excellence and strengthen the scientific and research capacities of students and emerging scholars. Through scholarships, specialized training opportunities, and accredited academic publishing platforms, the program contributes to building human capital and advancing sustainable development by enabling researchers to produce rigorous, impactful knowledge.
By offering an integrated package of academic, financial, and psychological support— alongside professional training programs and peer-reviewed publication opportunities— the program works to develop a new generation of researchers capable of driving social change through high-quality scientific inquiry.
The program places particular emphasis on researchers whose projects have the potential to contribute to community development, ensuring that research efforts address real societal needs and generate measurable impact within the Egyptian context.
The Excellence Scholarship supports outstanding researchers in pursuing their postgraduate studies without financial, psychological, or academic barriers, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality and relevance of scientific research in universities.
This flagship initiative by Tawasol provides comprehensive support for master’s and PhD students in the social sciences.
The scholarship covers financial assistance, academic supervision, and psychological counseling to help researchers overcome the pressures of graduate studies. To date, six researchers from diverse fields have benefited from the program.
The Egyptian Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences is a peer-reviewed, semi-annual scientific journal published by Tawasol. It is accredited by the Supreme Council of Universities and, in 2025, ranked 23 (shared position) in the Arab Citation and Impact Factor (Arcif) index—making it a trusted platform for Arab researchers.
The journal has published 11 issues to date, featuring high-quality studies with
scientific and societal relevance. It serves as a bridge between the academic
community and policy makers by publishing research that can inform evidence-based development policies.
