Welcome For
“Ihyaa – A New Beginning for a Productive Life”
In collaboration with the Social Rehabilitation Association for the Disabled in Helwan,
we have launched the first steps toward economic empowerment for more than 35 women, through training programs in sewing, beauty services, and handmade carpets, along with psychological support and e-marketing training.
A heartfelt thank you to the Social Rehabilitation Association in Helwan for their partnership and support.
We continued… so we understood. We engaged in dialogue… so we advanced.
From the heart of Cairo, we gathered at the “Tawasul for Development Forum”—an event that was more than just a conference.
It was an authentic space for understanding, connecting, and launching true partnerships between civil society organizations, the private sector, and the banking sector.
We listened to voices that truly believe in change, discussed the challenges, and shared real success stories.
We became certain that civil society is not merely a party to the development equation, but a fundamental pillar of it.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, supported, spoke, and to all who believed that “communication is the first step toward real impact.”
At the “Tawasul for Development Forum,” the presence of leaders in social responsibility in Egypt had a profound influence on the depth of the discussions and the clarity of the vision.
We began with Dr. Lamies Ali Negm, the keynote speaker and the driving force behind the birth of this idea—who supported it from the very start and enriched it with her vision and wisdom until it became a tangible reality.
We were delighted to be joined by:
Ms. Naglaa Nasr, a true development advocate, who embraced the idea from the very first moment and was a remarkable example of belief in purposeful partnerships.
Ms. Hala Abdel Wadood, who brought depth to the discussions with her extensive expertise in communications and corporate social responsibility.
Ms. Nermeen Shahin El Din, who sincerely conveyed the challenges of funding and empowerment, drawing from her rich and impactful experience.
Dr. Amira Hreidy masterfully moderated the sessions with wisdom and calm, giving the dialogue depth, balance, and respect for every perspective.
Thank you to everyone who illuminated our path with mature insight and wholeheartedly contributed to building a shared language between civil society and the private sector.
At the “Tawasul for Development Forum,” we were not merely seeking sources of funding.
We wanted to understand: How does the world think? What makes us true partners in an international financing ecosystem that recognizes only efficiency, transparency, and impact?
In our panel discussion with experts from diverse fields, we opened windows to authentic experiences and listened to people who had been there — at the very heart of the global scene.
Dr. Mostafa Atiya emphasized in his words that “what comes after the conference is the real beginning. Building on what was said, turning dialogue into tools, and ideas into action — that is what makes a true difference.”
Dr. Aliaa Shanab shared with us how institutional relationships with international entities are built, and how the local voice can have a place in global dialogues — if it is confident and well-organized.
Dr. Mostafa El Sherbiny laid out a new roadmap for thinking about financing: funding tied to sustainability, climate, and environmental justice. He stressed that development can only be comprehensive if it respects both the environment and humanity together.
Mr. Ahmed Allam brought insights straight from the field — from where trust is built and priorities take shape. He reminded us that youth are not just recipients, but partners in creating a new vision for empowerment, accountability, and transparency.
The discussion was not about grants alone, but about a holistic system of understanding, readiness, and adaptation — without losing identity.
It was about organizations that know who they are, what they want, and how to speak to the world in their own language — without dissolving into it.
In this session, we realized that funding is not a starting point, but the outcome of a mature idea, institutional work, and a genuine message worthy of being heard.
